Tsire’ West African Spice mix, a mixture of ground peanuts and spices, used to coat meat / meatballs before cooking, that adds a unique taste and texture.
Recipe to make Lamb meatballs: In a large bowl mix 2lb minced lamb with1 finely minced onion, 2 pcs chopped garlic cloves, 4tbsp plain yoghurt and 1-2 finely chopped green chili. Form into evenly sized balls or kababs. Dip each in the beaten egg and then coat with ‘Tsire Spice Mix’ (Use approximately 1tbsp spice mix/1lb meat). Cook them on the grill until done and sprinkle with a little bit of the spice mix before serving.
