Jimbu is a Nepalese aromatic stalks and leaves of wild onion / garlic, grows in the hilly and
Himalayas sides of Nepal.
It give the strong and spicy flavor much like garlic or shallots. Primarily use it as a tempering spice for flavoring and seasoning lentils, meats, stir-fried vegetables, salads, and in pickles.
Suggested Uses:
For the best result, fry it in ghee to enhance their flavors and taste, and then use it to
garnish the dishes. It is traditionally used to flavor lentils, pickles, meat, salads, and vegetables.
Health Benefit:
Jimmu tea- (boiled with salt and turmeric) is a popular home remedy for cough and
cold in Nepal.
