Alfalfa leaves are from the oldest cultivated flowering plant, collected before flowering, dried and grounded. A good source of protein, minerals & vitamins.

Combines well with other herbs, especially mint, thyme, oregano and nettle. Alfalfa lends a fresh, mildly sweet flavor to soups, strews, baked goods, smoothies.

Powdered alfalfa can be used in skin and hair care formulas. The powder can also be used to make an infused oil for topical use.
