White ginseng (Panax quinquefolis) is fresh ginseng which has been grown for four to six years & then peeled and sun dried to reduce the water content to 12% or less.

How to Use Ginseng Root: Bring to boil 4 cups of water, put few roots (Clean & slice up the roots into thin rounds), simmer for 2 hours in a non-metal container. The liquid can be poured off and stored for several days in the refrigerator and the root can be cooked one more time before discarding it. An average dose is 1 or 2 cups a day between meals. Honey can also be added to cut down the bitter taste of the tea.
