Aritha (Soapnut) ‘the mother of all soap’, is the Fruit of the soapnut tree, acts as natural foaming agents and gentle cleanser when it comes in contact with water.*
Making Aritha (Soapnut) liquid: Boil 100 grams of Aritha (soapnut) in about 12 cups of water, for about 30 min, Steep until it cools. Add 2-3 caps of Soap Nut liquid into the detergent compartment and wash as normal. Or use it (1oz) onto your hair, rub gently into your scalp and hair roots, then rinse your hair after few minutes.
How to use Aritha (Soap nuts) in washing m/c:: Pop 6 – 8 Soap nuts into a small cotton bag /pouch /socks or similar, tie it up tightly and throw it in the drum of the washing machine with your laundry load. Soapnuts wash effectively between 30 and 60 degrees and the bag full will last for up to 3-4 washes.
