Indonesian Cassia Cinnamon is cultivated in Java and Sumatra, are spicy, smells pretty strong with pleasant flavor and has smooth taste and sometimes bitter. The pungency is somewhere in between Chinese and Vietnamese, and stronger than Ceylon Cinnamon. It has 2-3% oil content.
