Corn syrup solids are dehydrated & powdered corn syrup. It add a mild sweetness and help with binding the ingredients in making sausage. It is not as sweet as cane sugar (table sugar) but can be easily mixed with powdered drinks as a substitute for sugar. It is commonly used in coffee creamers, and cocoas. Also used as a common ingredient in confectionery ice-cream, sorbet, dry mixes,dairy desserts, sauces and dressings. It adds the texture and month-feel to many processed foods. Usage: In sausage making recipes, use 1 1/2 Tbsp/ 10lbs of meat.
