Creole seasoning is the perfect combination of Southern flavors, influenced by French, Spanish & Southern cultures that come from New Orleans. It offers a deliciously different flavor than Cajun seasoning and perfect for seasoning your favorite Creole dishes like gumbo, fried catfish, crawfish, oysters, and jambalaya or pretty much any cut of meat, chicken.
Creole seasoning is also excellent for seasoning rice, beans & grains, soups, salads, eggs and pastas.
Melt 2tbsp butter in large skillet on medium heat. Add chicken & cook until browned. Remove chicken & set aside.
Stir in ½ each thinly sliced green and red bell pepper, 1 thinly sliced onion into same skillet, stir until crisp-tender. Add 1 cup water and 1 diced tomatoes, bring to boil. Put the chicken breast, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 25 minutes or until chicken is tender & cooked through. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes before serving over cooked rice.
