Daikon, a long white radish, cut into small strips and sun dried, also called 'sengiri' or 'kiriboshi' daikon, in Japan. Used in soups, stews, salads and vegetable side dishes.

Daikon is a good source of potassium and fiber. Helps metabolize fat, pass water, and promote cardiovascular health.

To prepare: Soak in warm water for 10 minutes, strain & use like vegetable, or simmer with ginger for a healthful tea.
