Date Sugar is ground dehydrated dates, used as an excellent alternative sweetener for its fruity sweetness, mild flavor and unique texture. Use in place of brown sugar in baked goods. It adds creaminess to baked goods, a rich sweetness to recipes, and will not dissolve when added to drinks. Use it to sweeten cereals, as a topping for yogurt or for muffins. Suggested use: 2/3 cup date sugar to replace 1 cup white sugar.
