DJON-DJON HAITIAN BLACK MUSHROOM

Djon djon (djon-djon) is an edible black
mushroom, used as a delicacy in Haitian
rice dishes and served with meat or fish
on special occasions.

Boiling the mushrooms releases a
grayish-black color, which is added
to the rice to get the aromatic taste.
