Enchilada Seasoning Mix
Enchilada Seasoning Mix feature bittersweet, earthy, warm and spicy flavors, will make an
aromatic & delicious enchilada sauce. Use it to season meat or vegetable filling for enchiladas, or uses as a base for marinades and dry rubs as well as other sauces, soups and salsas.
Sprinkle enchilada seasoning on eggs, pasta salad, braised meats, grilled or roasted
vegetables, or chili fries.
Ing: New Mexican Chili Powder, Sweet Paprika, Onion, Cumin, Demerara sugar, Sea Salt, Coriander, Garlic, Mexican Oregano, Serrano Chili.
Typical usage: 1tbsp seasoning per pound of meat.
To make enchilada sauce: In a sauce pan heat 1 cup canola oil, add 2 tbsp flour, 3 tbsp enchilada seasoning, stir until brown. Add 8 oz tomato sauce 2 tbsp seasoning, mix and cook 10 minutes or until sauce thickens.
