Erythritol

Erythritol is sugar alcohol (polyol), a type of carbohydrate occur naturally in many fruits such as melon, watermelon, pears, or grapes. Commercially produced by fermentation from corn (dextrose).
It is non-caloric and has a low glycemic index. Has clean tastes like regular sugar (about 80% as sweet as sugar) without the adverse effects.
Use as a tabletop sugar replacement. Add as desired to recipes, drinks, or baked goods. Also added in packaged foods and beverages, providing sweetness and helps foods retain moisture. Great for reduced calorie & sugar-free recipes.
Consuming over 50 grams of Erythritol may result in nausea.
