Crushed Fenugreek seed is the crushed fruit/ seeds of the fragrant fenugreek herb, that has
long been used in Indian, Middle Eastern, South Asian and North African foods and
medicine. It has distinct warm aroma, slightly sweet and nutty with a bitter undertone.
A small amount of crushed fenugreek seed will complement other spices-too much will result an unpleasant bitterness & dominate the dish.

Crushed Fenugreek seeds are often used in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisines to flavor soups, stews or curries, season vegetables or salads, or added to aromatic spices blends, dry rubs, and tea blends.

Make tea: Put 1 tsp crushed seed in a cup of boiling water, steep for 3-5 min., strain,
