Freekeh Grade AA, Fine Grind

Fine Freekeh is the young and green durum wheat kernels that are sun-dried and roasted, rubbed and cracked to fine grain. When cooked, it has a nutty flavor with slightly smoky aroma and a pleasantly chewy texture.

Toss into soups or stews for a nutritional punch. Perfect for savory salads, spiced pilafs and hearty hot cereal, or use instead of rice, pasta for a deeper flavor and aroma.

Cooking Instruction: Bring 2- 2 1/2 cups water to 1 cup Freekeh to boil, cover and simmer on low until grains are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
