These finely sliced & dried garlic cloves provides much of the natural pungent and slightly sweet garlic flavor and texture of fresh garlic, and is better choice in recipes instead of garlic powder. The flavor is more intense when browned.
When cooking with liquids added to foods before cooking or re-hydrate the flakes by soaking in water for 30 minutes.
Use 3 /4 teaspoon garlic flakes in place of one fresh garlic clove.
