This Mild & Sweet West African spice, 8-10cm
long cardamom like reddish brown fruit pod
that grows at the foot of the waterfalls of
Ekomo, Cameroon. Pod contains irregularly
shaped red brown seeds with a remarkable
citrus flavor, and light fruity- floral notes.
Flavor & Taste: Sensual & sweet, complex taste.
Uses: Used as a spicy aroma in soups and stews, or
added as flavoring to various rices. Also can be used
as an excellent spice rub for fish and other meats —
just toast the peppers in a pan first & grind!
