Coconut (Palm) Sugar
This Organic coconut sugar is made of Coconut Palm Nectar from the sap of cut flower buds of the Coconut Palm Tree. The sap is heated to evaporate the water, then dehydrated to a rich, brown granulated crystals with a deep caramel flavor.

It is a healthy alternative to high fructose sweeteners, has a low-glycemic index, high in potassium, magnesium, zinc and iron, and rich in 12 of the Vitamin B complex, considered to be healthier than refined cane sugar.

It is a favorable sweetener in confectionery recipes due to its low melting point and especially high burning temperature.
