Granulated Honey
(Crystallized Honey)
Granulated honey is made in a process called co-crystallization, produced by combining honey and sugar, and then dried together. This finished mixture is broken up through milling to become free flowing granulated honey.
It retains the same complex honey flavor but has a crunchy quality to it, dissolves well in liquid, but doesn’t have the stickiness of fresh honey.
Substitute granulated honey for liquid honey in savory recipes, rubs and marinades, use it substitute for sugar in baking, or use as sweetener for coffee, tea, lemonade and cocktails. Ing: Granulated honey (7% honey, 93% sugar)
