Green Chickpeas are dried freshly shelled matured green Chana pods harvested slightly earlier stage, to retain its green color. Packed with nutrition and have a very unique taste and has more flavor than chickpeas, acquire slightly sweet taste. Best eaten boiled in chats, curries, stir-fries, sautés, and salads or roasted for snacks.
Basic preparation: Wash, rinse & soak overnight until grow plump. Add 4 Cups of water / Cup of Bean, bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 60-90 minutes or until tender (add more water as needed).
