Hijiki is a brown, wild seaweed, harvested from
the cold waters off the north shore of Pacific
Ocean on the rocky coastlines around Japan.
Hijiki is very high in dietary fiber, and essential
minerals such as calcium, iron, and magnesium.
Has more nutrients than most vegetables. Usually
used as a topping for many Japanese dishes and
commonly is served with fish and/or vegetables.
Use it to make sushi, soup, and spring rolls!
Soak desired amount in cold water for 30 min.
Deain well. Add to soups, salads, meat and
vegetable dishes. Product of Japan.
