Kalonji Ground is the ground Seed of Blessing, a miracle herb, the black seed of a very unique looking flower. It has a sharp flavor and strong aroma, slightly bitter taste with a nutty, earthy, peppery taste and a crunchy texture.

Popular in India, West Bengal, and Bangladesh. alonji is either dry-roasted or tempered in cooking oil, adds a beautiful aroma to the dishes. Used in stir-fried vegetables, legumes, salads, fish, rice, pickling, curries, rice, breads, and cookies & salty snacks.
