These small red kidney beans have rich shiny dark red color. It has sweet aroma, robust flavor, meaty texture and delicious taste. When cooked, hold up the shape and the color, absorb flavor in most simmered dishes. Used in salads, soups, stew and as side-dish. Specially used in Kashmiri Rajma curry dish.
Basic preparation: Wash, rise & soak overnight. Add 4 Cups of water / Cup of Bean, bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 60-90 minutes or until tender.(add more water as needed).
Yield: 3 cups of cooked beans / Cup of dry beans
