Korma Masala Powder
Korma masala powder is a sweet, aromatic, mildly spiced blend used to create Indo-Pakistani Korma Curry dish. Korma dish consisting of meat or vegetables braised in a rich, flavorful, thick creamy spiced sauce made with Korma Masala and yogurt, cream & nuts, offering a prestige Mughlai dish with a subtle sweetness and aromatic mouthwatering, warm and nutty taste.
Ingredients: Turmeric, Cumin, Paprika, Cloves, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Nutmeg, Fennel, Coriander, Red Chili Pepper, Black Pepper.
Simple recipe for Chicken Korma:
Heat 3-4tbsp vegetable oil in a heavy saucepan, fry 1 cup diced Onion till brown, add ½tbsp Garlic Paste & 1 tbsp Ginger Paste, stir, add 3-4tbsp ‘Korma Masala’, stir, add little water if needed, simmer until oil get separated. Add 2 lbs cut Chicken pieces, stir, add 1 1/2 cup Yogurt, 1-2 tbsp ground Almond or Cashew nuts (opt), stir, add salt to taste, add water if needed, bring to boil, cover, cook on low heat (15-20 min) until sauce thickens & meat is tender, garnish with 1cup golden brown fried onion, few soaked golden raisin (opt), sprinkle 2 tbsp kewra (screw-pine) water for flavor & serve with pilaf rice.
