Lemongrass Stalk

AKA 'Citronella grass or Fever grass'
These sliced and dried lemongrass stalks are made from the long slender stalks of lemongrass- a grassy herb, without the leaf or root end and the tough outer layer. It is native to India & tropical Asia.
Dried Lemongrass stalks are extremely fibrous but are fragrant and impart a sweet- lemony flavor.
Suggested Uses:
Use lemongrass stalks in stews and curries, to make marinades. It works best in dishes like
soups and slow-roasted meats that simmer for long periods of time. Also used in tea and
beverages for a rich lemony taste.
Dried lemongrass stalks can be ground into a powder or to make paste, and to be used
in soup, curry, or stir-fry dishes.
