When cooked, rice is soft, fragrant, fluffy & slightly-sticky. Ideal for stir-fry dishes, salads, pilaf and desserts.
Cooking Instructions for plain rice:
- In a sauce pan add 1 1/4 cups of water or broth / Cup rice, 2-3 tbsp 'Rice seasoning mix'(opt), 1 Tbsp butter (if desired), salt to taste.
- Bring to a soft boil, lower the heat, cover with lid and simmer for 15-20 minutes or grain are soft but not sticky.
- Turn off the heat, let the rice steamed in the covered pot at least another 5-10 minutes or until the rice has absorbed the liquid.
- Fluff with fork and ready to serve.
One cup of rice will yield: 3 cups of cooked rice.
