Manjistha Root, also known as 'Indian Madder, used in Ayurvedic medicine as a blood purifier and antioxidant. It binds all toxins present in the blood and helps to remove them, reducing the skin problems, control itching burning sensation of skin, also helps to control joint pains.
*To prepare a decoction: In a pot put 2 tsp cut herb per 8 ounces of water, bring to boil, reduce the heat, simmer, covered for 20 minutes, strain and drink ½-1 cup 2-3 times daily.
