Description
Farro is semi pearled ‘Emmer Wheat’, an ancient strain of hard wheat grown in Northern Italy. When cooked, it adds add full-bodied sweet & nutty flavor, hearty chewy texture, and high nutritional value (over 16% protein) to every meal.
Use Farro in soups, stews, salads, pilafs and side dishes
Cooking instruction: Add 1 cup of Farro to 2-1/2 cups water, bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, occasionally skimming water, for 30 minutes. Drain excess water. Serve warm
