Pickling & Canning Salt

Pickling salt is a pure fine granulated salt (Pure Sodium Chloride) without any anti-caking agent (free flowing agent) or preservatives (iodine), that are traditionally added to table salt.

Canning & pickling salt is mainly used for canning and manufacturing pickles. It dissolves easily in a liquid and make a clear brine that is effectively preserve foods and bring out the flavor.

Salt with iodine make pickles dark, with anti-caking salt, pickling liquid turn cloudy.
