Recipe to grill Portuguese style chicken:
Make a marinade: In a bowl mix 2tbsp Portuguese seasoning, 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, ¼ cup white vinegar, ½ cup olive oil, 2 tbsp minced garlic, 2tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice (optional). Coat 4 pounds cleaned whole cleaned with skin with the marinade evenly on the outside and under the skin. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or at least two hours.
Place the marinated chicken on well-greased grill over medium heat, skin-side down, for 10-12 minutes, until the skin begins to have a nice char on it. Flip and baste with the left over marinade from the bowl, cook covered for 40-45 minutes, flipping once or twice while cooking, until chicken is completely cooked through and juices run clear.
