All natural purple variety popcorn has small, nutty kernels, pop into brilliant white but with fewer hulls than regular popcorn, for a fluffy and delicious snack. After popping it holds high antioxidant activity more than yellow popcorn.
Stove top popping directions: Preheat 3Tbsp oil in a deep pan, add 1/3 cup kernels. Put a lid, shake the pan, or stir the kernels, so that they do not burn. Cook for 2 1/2- 4 min or until the pops are 5 sec. apart.
Microwave directions: Mix 1/3 cup of popcorn with 1tbsp of oil., put in a brown paper bag. Fold top of the bag twice, shake and cook for 2 1/2 min or until the pops are 5 seconds apart.
