Quinoa, Flakes Organic
Quinoa Flakes are quinoa grains rolled into a very thin flake, making them a quick-cooking, gluten-free substitute for oats in hot breakfast cereals and baked goods such as cookies,
quick breads, muffins, granola or in streusel topping. Can be used as a breading for
chicken, fish or veggies.
Basic Prep as a breakfast cereal: Add 1/3 cup flakes to 1 cup boiling water and cook for
90 seconds. Remove from heat and let stand until desired thickness and consistency. Keep
refrigerated for a longer shelf life. Cooked Quinoa Flakes taste light and mildly nutty.
