White Rice beans are small rice-shaped beans, have uniform ivory white color. When cooked, have a mild flavor, slightly sweet in taste and firm, delicate and meaty texture. Perfect for cold pasta, vegetable salads, soups, casseroles or cook with other dark-colored rice.
Basic preparation: Wash, rinse & add 4 Cups of water / Cup of Bean, bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 20-30 minutes or until tender (add more water as needed). Flavor with butter or oil, salt to taste and any seasoning if desired. Cook uncovered over low heat until desired consistency.
Yield: 2 cups of cooked beans / Cup of dry beans
