Coarse Rice Flour is coarsly ground, long-or medium-grain raw white rice. Also known as cream of rice or idli rava.
Used in making rice porridge/ kanji or kheer, crepes, pancakes, pasta, cakes, biscuits, cookies, flat breads, sweets, pudding, idli, dosa, and uttapam.
Used as thickener in oriental dishes. Also used in healthy gluten-free baked goods. Many snack foods and breakfast cereals are made from coarser flours.
