A tastiest dry rub seasoning to prepare Barbecued /grilled Shrimp.
Ingredients: Smoked Sweet Paprika, Brown Sugar, Salt, Mustard Powder, Thyme, Black Pepper, Red Pepper.
Simple recipe to make grilled shrimp: Combine 3-4tsp seasoning and 1tbsp olive oil in a mixing bowl. May add some baking soda (opt) for a firm, crisp texture. Pat 1lb (15- to 20 count) raw shrimp, peeled and deveined with paper towels. Add shrimp to spice mixture and toss until evenly coated. Cover and let marinate for 30 minutes. Heat a grill to medium-high around 300°F and higher. Brush grill grates with a little olive oil. Thread shrimp on metal or soaked wooden skewers, snugly fitting each other, brush the shrimp with some olive oil. Grill the shrimp until they curl up and turn just barely opaque, few minutes per side (vary on the size of the shrimp). Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with lemon wedges, and serve with dipping sauce.
