Shichimi Togarashi, Japanese 7 Spice Mix

Togarashi is a popular Japanese seven-flavor spice mix. It combines the heat of red chili and Japanese pepper, tangy citrusy sweetness of orange and the earthy savory flavor of seaweed and sesame. Ultimately a complex combination of spicy- sweet, umami and slightly zesty fruity flavor with spicy notes. 
Typically used as a condiment, sprinkled over cooked food just before serving. Add to your
 favorite Asian rice or noodle dish, sprinkle over popcorn or fries, season grilled or BBQ meats.
