Shio kombu are in sheets of kelp boiled in
soy sauce with sweetener and seasonings, then
dried and cut into small pieces. It contain a lot
of umami components, and has more complex
in flavor and aroma, has a caramel-like
sweetness with a hint of the ocean.
Enjoy as a snack as is or, sprinkle it over rice
tofu, salad, scrambled eggs, appetizers, or
add it into soups, noodles, simmered and
