Silicon Dioxide (SiO2)

Also known as 'Silica', is a natural crystalline compound, used as a food additive. Its porous structure allows to act as an anti caking agent to absorb moisture and prevent clumping and also as a carrier of flavors and fragrances. Silicon Dioxide is used in flour, cereal mixes, home-made seasoning, spice blends.

Usage: Less than 2% by weight.

Also used as a supplement to develop healthy bone density and maintain healthy skin, hair and nails.*
