Sloppy Joes Seasoning Mix

‘Sloppy Joes’ has been a family favorite seasoning mix to season lean ground beef or turkey, for making a thick, rich classic American sandwich, served on hamburger buns.
Ingredients:
Onion, Tomato Powder, Green Bell Pepper, Salt, Corn Starch, Garlic, Vinegar Powder, Brown Sugar, Red Pepper, Celery Seed, Dry Mustard Powder, Black Pepper.

Use 1/3 cup seasoning mix per pound of ground meat.

Simple recipe to make Sloppy Joes Sandwiches:
In a large saucepan, cook 1 lb ground beef over medium heat, drain. Add 1/4cup water & 1/3 cup seasoning mix, Stir and mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover, simmer for 30-40 minutes. Sprinkle few dashes of Worcestershire sauce, & salt & pepper if needed, and may add 1-2 tbsp tomato paste to give it a little deeper tomato flavor. Serve on the toasted buns.
