Also known as Tremella or White Jelly Mushroom,
grows specially on the deadwood of broadleaf
tree, have mild & earthy flavor with lightly
floral aroma.
Used mostly in dessert soups for its chewy,
gelationous and soft jelly like tender texture.
Commonly used in Traditional Chinese Medicine
as a tonic for overall immune health.
Uses: Trim the hard bottom, wash the ear of the
fungus thoroughly and (squeeze) drain dry.
Soak overnight with enough water (at least 3
to 4 times of its size, or at least 20 min,
(or until soft) prior to cooking.
