Tandoori masala is a blend of spices, used extensively in traditional north Indian and Pakistani cooking to use with marinating of chicken, beef, fish & paneer cheese based dishes more aromatic and flavorful. Most common dishes are tandoori chicken, chicken tikka or butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, tandoori fish andpaneer tikka.
It is traditionally cooked at high temperatures in a tandoor (clay oven), but can also be prepared on a traditional barbecue grill.
While marinating, you may use red or yellow food color to make the dish fiery red hue.
