Black Tepary beans are ancient superfood of the Sonoran Desert, has a subtle earthy flavor, nut-like taste and an aroma like reminiscent smell of a summer rain on the desert. Retains its shape and firmness, yet tender and makes thin gravy. Use in soups, stews, dips and spreads. Also taste great in salads.
Basic preparation: Wash, rinse & soak overnight. Add 5-6 Cups of water/ Cup of Bean, bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 2-4 hours or until tender (add more water as needed).
