Tripotassium Phosphate is the soluble phosphoric acid salt of tripotassium, freely soluble in water. Known as a buffering agent, acidity regulator, emulsifier, sequestrant, stabilizer, nutrient fortification and low-sodium replacement in food.
Soluble in water and insoluble in alcohol.
Use as a potential antimicrobial agent in poultry processing, cooked and cured meats, milk and cream products, as a fertilizer on farms.
Increased pH makes the product creamier and a richer appearance.
Also used in the pharmaceutical and papermaking industries.
