This cream-colored round pods are distinctive cardamom variety. Are relatively mild in flavor, less pungent and camphoraceous than green cardamom and more floral with notes of lemon, slightly minty aftertaste.
USES:
It can be used in whole, or they should be bruised with the back of a knife or ground
with other spices. Popular ingredient in Chinese, Southeast or central Asian cooking. Used in slow-cooked soups, curries, and braised meat dishes. Also in spice mixes for
braises, broths, soups, oils, and sauces.
