(Mexico's Yucatan 'Annato Based' Seasoning Rub)
This fiery annatto-based Rojo BBQ Rub is
extremely popular in Mexico's Yucatan
peninsula, provides spicy, citrucy and earthy
flavors with a bright orange-red color to the
local cuisine. Used either as a dry rub or
combined with citrus juice or vinegar to make
a wet rub or marinade for meat, chicken,
fish, or shrimp before grilling for an explosion
of authentic Yucatan flavor. Use this blend
to add savoryflavor and a smoky depth to tacos,
fajitas, enchiladas, carne asada and more.
Use this dry rub 1-½ tsp per pound of meat.
Ing: Annato, Salt, Oregano, Peppercorn, Coriander,
Cumin, Cinnamon, Garlic, Chipotle( Morita) Pepper,
Allspice, Cloves, Lemon Peel.
