Za'atar, Wild Mountain Herb (Origanum syriacum)

This pure Wild Za'atar, also called Lebanese/ Syrian Oregano or Holly Hyssop, grows wildalong the mountain slopes of Middle East, known for its distinctive savory spicy flavor and gives great fragrance with a hint of marjooram-thyme-oregano flavor.

This Zaatar herb is also extremely common in theMiddle-Eastern spice blend or used for roast or rub, in marinades, soups & stews.

Note: It is NOT Middle-Eastern spice blend 'Za'atar'.
